Beyond The Blue Original

Description

This painting is about surfacing after a long season submerged in overwhelm and uncertainty. A woman has been underwater a long time and now, she finally sees the shore. Layer by layer, color by color, grief gives way to clarity and the feeling of drowning is replaced with new breath and life that is brighter, bolder, and more whole than she ever imagined.
This piece echoes the transitions in my own life: new beginnings, gentler rhythms, and the promise of vibrant things ahead.
