The Cougar Original

Description

This piece is about instinct versus restraint, the inner animal we all wrestle with. A woman moves forward in flight or pursuit, while her part cougar shadow-self lunges opposite her under a red moon.

I wanted the composition to feel visceral while being pared down: bold shapes, limited palette, and tension in the negative space. It’s both a tableau of danger and a portrait of duality, the way strength and fear often arrive hand in hand.
