Description
Motherhood shifts everything, disrupting old rhythms and routines and forging new ones. Everything feels new, yet familiar, constantly stretching me toward growth. This piece reflects the transition out of the newborn phase, navigating uncertainty while holding onto my confidence and identity.
Instead of perfecting every detail, I let the process remain visible, showing pencil lines, underpainting, and traces of how it was made. I am learning to trust my instincts and find beauty in the mess of making. Her body is defined, but not perfected, holding both control and looseness at once.
