Description
This painting emerged after a four-month pause, a season of rest, nesting, and quiet anticipation. This work considers waiting as a physical condition. Not about appearance but about bearing time itself. How anticipation accumulates and time presses against the body before anything visibly changes. The blue form operates as both shelter and gravity, holding the figure in suspension. Waiting is not empty but instead dense with becoming. There is a stillness in waiting, when life is expanding forward but you remain suspended in the in-between. This piece reflects that interior heaviness.
